One Friday afternoon on Lasserre Level 3, 13:30 to 19:30, computed in a few seconds and then played back. The plan is the real floor from the Revit export; people are generated from the group you set up.
Each student has five needs that fill at rates set by their archetype and traits: coffee, hunger (most arrive without lunch, so the kitchen is busy in the first hour), movement, company and printing. When a need is full they act: kitchen, the pin-up wall, a walk out, a friend's desk, the 3D printer room or the computer stations. Capacity matters: the kitchen crowds above seven, the printer room holds two and the rest wait in the hall, a pin-up board needs a free metre in front. People new to the building sometimes go to the wrong end for the printers.
Profs enter by a stair, circulate through their section for desk crits in a varying order, wait three minutes at an empty desk and come back to it later, pause when everyone left is away, and leave. Two office profs keep office hours in the north and south offices.
From about 15:00 people finish; those not staying go home, those staying for Good Times wind down on the floor. At 17:45 a crew of three sets up the bar; from 18:10 the food line forms down the central aisle; at 18:30 the bar opens. People stand at the bar, split off to sit on sofas, in the classroom or at empty desks, go back to a desk for a print, and from 19:00 leave in a rising wave.
Computed: routes, distances, who is where, room occupancy, clearances, the line, moods as a weighted sum of events. Inferred and tagged as such: the remarks and reviews (templates for now) and the wording of the next steps. The office furniture is inferred, since the export has none there.
Setup on the left: what is being tested, the goals, studio-wide qualities, archetype cards and individuals. Run computes the afternoon; several seeds show what holds. Summary on the right answers the goals and lists next steps, numbered on the plan; expand one for the evidence, a jump into the playback, quotes and someone to follow. Feed below it holds every remark; open it to see what the suggestions were made from. People in the top bar lists everyone: spotlight, follow, edit and pin.
Pixel view: a 16 px tile is half a metre; walls show their front faces, doors open as people pass, speech bubbles show remarks as they happen. The plan drawing is the other view, exact to the export.
